- Event & Memorial Information: Details regarding events you are hosting or attending, including guest lists, vendor interactions, and data uploaded to burial/memorial profiles.
- Vendor Profiles: Business names, service descriptions, pricing, portfolios, and verification documents (e.g., government ID, business registration) for security purposes.
- Financial Data: We collect payment-related data necessary to process your transactions. However, we do not store raw credit card numbers. All payment processing is handled securely by our third-party payment gateways (e.g., Paystack, Flutterwave, Stripe).
3. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information collected via our platform for a variety of business purposes described below:
- To Facilitate Account Creation: And manage the user authentication process.
- To Deliver Core Services: Allowing Event Hosts to manage RSVPs, processing ticket sales, and connecting Hosts with Verified Vendors.
- To Protect Our Platform: As part of our efforts to keep OwanbePro safe and secure (for example, fraud monitoring, vendor verification, and spam prevention).
- To Communicate with You: Sending administrative information, event updates, notifications of vendor bids, and policy changes.
4. How We Share Your Information
Because OwanbePro is a multi-sided marketplace, certain information must be shared to make events successful:
- Between Hosts and Guests: If you RSVP or buy a ticket, your name and contact details are shared with the Event Host for guestlist management.
- Between Hosts and Vendors: If a Host hires a Vendor, contact details are shared to facilitate communication and service delivery.
- Service Providers: We may share data with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents who perform services for us (e.g., payment processing, SMS delivery, email hosting).
- Legal Obligations: We may disclose your information where we are legally required to do so in order to comply with applicable law, governmental requests, a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.
